Welcome to StarWars30.com This is the Official Site for Patrick T. Gorman's hit play STAR WARS TRILOGY IN 30 MINUTES. Here you'll find out the latest news regarding the play, its strange history, and all that rests inbetween.
This rip-roaring play does as it says and whips through George Lucas's Star Wars Trilogy in a half hour. Called "Hilarious" and "Unfailingly Imaginative" by Variety and "A high-octane machine, walking the tightrope between representation and sendup in a manner recalling the glory days of Second City, if not the earlier, funny episodes of 'Saturday Night Live'" by the Los Angeles Times, the play has been running for a number of years throughout the world creating their glorious maelstrom of comedic chaos. STAR WARS TRILOGY IN 30 MINUTES premiered at the 1996 Edinburgh Fringe Festival where it has been a continual critical and commercial success every year that it's returned and the play was honored to be one of the opening productions of the French American Center in 2001. STAR WARS TRILOGY IN 30 MINUTES just completed a mammothly successful Los Angeles run at the Coronet Theatre that lasted several months. The production has received rave reviews and notice from Variety, the Los Angeles Times, USA Today, the Sunday London Times, CNN, BBC, Fox, and many others. The show is currently in discussions for it to be brought to other cities. |
